You may yet need to uninstall and reinstall, but hopefully you can resolve by working through those options.

Thanks Andy. I ended up running the whole reindexing thing as it wasn't just bank payments. Then I had to re-calculate Project costs because of errors. Ran checks again and all ok. Backed up. Couple of oddities since but now seems to have settled down. Will Verify Answer as I was able to sort things out.
