When posting stock takes via the Stock Take window the adjustment that is posted in sage (AI /AO) does not match the calculation. This does not occur for every entry in the stock-take window.
The most recent occurrence, 28 items were entered in the stock take window, 20 are correct and 8 were incorrect, the incorrect items are posting incorrect adjustments out
eg; the actual was 128 and the In Stock was 126, the window displayed an adjustment correctly of 2 but after the stock stake was posted, the activity for the item was AO STK TAKE -88.
I have investigated all of the instances and noticed the following pattern.
The error appears to occur if there is an adjustment in AI for the item on the same day.
for the example above
the stock was increased by 90 with an AI transaction
the stock window calculated 128-126 = plus 2
but posted AO -88
this seemed to be derived from the actual adjusted value and AI being added together and posted as an AO
We use AI and Stock Take regularly, this has not happened in the past and only started in the last 3 weeks
our current sage version is 29.0.252.0
