Foreign Currency Transaction Import - Sage50Cloud

SOLVED

Hi there

Is it possible to import bank transactions in a foreign currency? We have started to sell services in republic of ireland therefore need to import euro payments but it seems I cannot do this like GBP payments.

It is getting to the point that there are too many transactions to input manually.

Thanks

Stuart

    SUGGESTED

    Hi Stuart,

    Thanks for using Sage City.

At present, foreign bank transactions must be entered manually and cannot be imported. I would suggest adding this option to the ideas Board so that we may see it in a future version of the software:  Ideas Board >

Thanks for the reply. Is there anything we can do instead? I.e. is this a problem with just sage50, does moving to any other sage product help this?

I would imagine there are lots of businesses in the UK taking euro payments, would you know what general practise they do as not all will be adding payments manually when there can be thousands of transactions. I.e. Do we need two sage products, one with base currency GBP & one with base currency euros?
