This order contains an inactive item.

Question

Hi All 
 I have a couple of old PO's that I want to cancel. However both are saying that I can't cancel or alter them as they contain an inactive item. However they don't! I have checked line by line and every item is a current active one. The supplier is an active one. 
 It's a tad ironic as I actually want to flag one of the items as inactive, but can't while there is an an outstanding order for it on Sage. I have done a Sage data check and there appears to be no problems with our data. 
 Any ideas?

Hi Mark,

Thanks for using Community Hub.

I would start by using the Recovery Tools to 'Recalculate Order Allocations' and 'Recalculate Stock' to refresh the records, and then check the individual items on the orders again to make sure the product records don't show as Inactive.

You can access the Recovery Tools options in File > Maintenance > Recovery Tools. As part of the process you are prompted to back up, so you can always return to the previous state if required.
