Use Sage VAT defaults when using SDO Helper C#

I'm using the Sage SDO Helper in visual studio to generate a Sales order on Sage. I'm trying to have it use the default VAT settings from sage for the products in the order but instead the VAT ends up being £0 instead of 20% like I have set. I've set the TAX_FLAG to 0 and NET_AMOUNT and TAX_AMOUNT aren't being passed in but its just not using the defaults i have set in Sage accounts.

How to I post a sales order into Sage using C# that uses the defaults for the VAT in Sage.
