Thanks for using Sage City.

Your data will remain in the same place when you upgrade. We would recommend not moving it. This is not the install location just the data location and it always remains the same place when you upgrade.

What is the full error message when you backup?

Thanks for the reply Ian - I have been talking to Fiona on live chat and we got it sorted

For anyone else who has the problem ...

error was 'Backup job terminated unexpectedly'

Solution: Settings > Company Preferences > Parameters > uncheck 'Enable backup when users logged in'

Pleased to hear you got it sorted.

If you wanted to keep this feature turned on the fix would be to install the update for v25.1.128.0 on the server / data service including all client machines.

To clarify - we have sage installed on a single PC if that makes any difference

This will update your v25 to v25.1.128.0
