ODBC version in v30?

SOLVED

Hi,

Can someone please explain to me why in 32bit version of Sage, there's a 64 ODBC .msi and in the new 64 bit version of Sage v30, there's 32bit version of ODBCs .msi?

Am I missing something? Thought this would have to match the OS and architecture of the client?

Thank you

It is simply to provide compatibility with applications such as Microsoft Office that may not match the architecture of Accounts. For example if you have installed the 64 bit version of Accounts but have the 32 bit version of Office then a 32 bit ODBC driver is needed when you use Excel Integrated Reporting.

    Hope that helps to clarify.
