"Failed to connect to Excel" in Sage 50 Accounts?

Hi all,

Trying to resolve an issue where member of Finance team's Sage gives the error message "failed to connect to Excel" whenever they try to export any reports to Excel. Has anyone seen this before, or could anyone point me in the right direction to resolve this? I have done a repair on Office, rebooted and done a repair on Sage which (worryingly) failed.
