Domestic Reverse Charge VAT

Question

There has been a small amount of publicity from HMRC about the above but I haven't seen anything on Sage. There has been lots of information about MTD, which is now live. Can you please include information about how this works in Sage as it comes into effect on 1st October 2019. Thank you.

 Thanks for using Sage City. 
 v26 of Sage 50 Accounts will be out before the legislation change on 1st October 2019. We do not have an official release date yet but you can expect it towards the start of September. You will need Sage 50cloud for the new reverse charge change. You can find out more about Reverse Charge VAT changes here

Hi Helen, 
 This only applies to the main contractor, the tax code that will be getting created by default in v26 will be T21. If T21 isn't available the program will find the next available tax code to use.
