Group Submission for MTD

Question

I am working from home. I downloaded the group submission module but when I click on the company (we are a group but have now only 1 company left!) it says there are "no VAT returns for this company". Our bookkeeper, forgetting about MTD (it is only our 2nd time) has "submitted" in the old way and so it is marked submitted. Has that got anything to do with it? 
 If not how do I fix?

Hi David, 
 Thanks for using Sage City. 
 If a VAT return is marked as submitted, the MTD module cannot pick it up. If it has only been submitted the old way, you should be able to open the VAT Return, then untick it as 'submitted', which will then put its status back to 'Pending'. Once this is done, next time you use the MTD module you will see the VAT Return(s) that need to be submitted.
