v28 Remote Data Access error downloading 3 out of 6 companies (others work fine)

Can't seem to find any appropriate help for this issue:

Running v28.1.404.0 with remote data access enabled for all 6 of our company files. RDA is working fine on 3 different computers (Windows 10 and 11), but I am getting an error when trying to download 3 of the 6 company files on a new (Windows 11) client. The other 3 company files download and open as expected.

The actual error is: unable to sync remote data access due to an issue connecting to the sage 50 accounts data service

The help I've found so far from Sage (and google) includes checking timezones/time settings, disabling IPv6, checking that RDA is enabled, etc. All of which would prevent me downloading ANY company file, not 3 out of the 6 we use. The Sage Accounts Data Service is running ok on the machine holding the data that serves RDA, we have tried restarting it and still get the same error on the same 3 company files when trying to download to a new device. But to reiterate, these same 3 company files are working fine on 3 other devices...
