Sage hangs when reconciling bank account and no PDF file produced in history

SOLVED

Since update to V28.1.404 I am having problems doing my bank reconciliation.

Sage hangs and I have to crash out of the program.

On re entering Sage the bank rec is showing as being done in bank account details but no pdf report produced.

On re entering the bank reconciliation it asks to open saved or start afresh.  Either way it will not reconcile and hangs again.

Any one else having this problem?  or know a solution.

    We have ha some reports of this happening on some PCs where the compatibility mode has been incorrectly set on the EXE. If you open Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage\Accounts (or to which ever folder you installed Accounts to if you did not use the default location). In the locate the file SBDDesktop.exe, right click on it an select properties. In the properties dialog go to the compatibility tab, uncheck the box 'Run this program in compatibility mode for' and click on OK.

    Hopefully that will sort your problem
