Amend Customer or Supplier Account Reference

We have suppliers or customers that change their name and although you can change their name in the name field you are unable to change their actual account reference.

This would be useful especially as we have Sage linked to another sys

If Adept can do this, why can't Sage, I've asked for this over the years but it never gets a mention, so many companies change trading titles and the history is important with a supplier or customer.

With no disrespect to you, it's great that there is a third party tool - but, you don't support the latest version (as of writing this), and, when I last looked, you are required to stop Sage Drive whilst changing. This is a timely operation that usually requires getting support involved with Sage Drive. Changing account codes is an everyday business occurrence and it is shockingly bad that Sage do not natively support this years after so many people have commented here.
