For those companies (including myself) who generate the same report over & over on a daily or weekly basis, it would be a fantastic addition to be able to put in a scheduled option to auto generate reports for the user. The same way banks email you to say your statement is ready. Their systems auto generate a bank statement for you to access online at the same time each week. This then prompts their system to email you & inform you that you have a statement ready to view.
It cannot be too hard to put in a function where it auto generates a scheduled report to be delivered to your email inbox or into a folder on the local drive.
The user should be about to do the following:
- Select which report you would like to run on the schedule.
- What criteria you want to choose on the report.
- How often you want the scheduled report to run.
- How the report is delivered to the user. I.e. via email or maybe saved in a folder via a certain format
- When you want Sage to run the report
This could save companies/users a lot of time on a weekly basis.
