I recently ran into a Company Data issue, one instance worked with Remote Data Access in offline mode causing data entries to become out of sync.  Once connectivity was restored we used the upload this instance's data in the hopes of keeping live changes but it seems something went wrong and since it appears we ended up with 2 datasets.  I was unhappy to find out that restoring backup files overwrites the company data entirely rather than giving the option to choose to overwrite or merge differences.

So I would like to request a feature change to be able to restore backup data with choice between overwrite or merge data.
