Change Nominal within the 'activity' screen of Sage 50c

When the nominal record module is open, you can select a nominal code then you click into 'Activity' to interrogate all movements within that code.  If you want to look at a new code, you have to click away into the 'details' field > select the new nominal > return to the 'Activity' field in order to see the activity in that new code.

It seems logical to just allow the nominal to be selected from the dropdown box that is greyed out in the 'activity' field.

    Whilst you are correct about the pre-selection of nominals, this would be helpful in certain roles, my roles has a 'random' nature to the nominal interrogation, so i'm back at square 1 Slight smile.

    It does seem on the face of it that a simple change across the board could improve efficiency for many people.

  • As long as you know what nominals you want to examine the activity of, if you preselect the required nominals and use Edit, them move onto the activity tab, when you move between them using the arrow buttons, the activity tab stays displayed.

    Though, being able to enter a new nominal at any time and keep the current tab would be useful, as it would with the other screens (Customers, Suppliers, etc) - it is frustratingly annoying and slowing down having to select the details screen (though clicking clear form), enter the new key and reselect the activity tab.
