Product Price Lists

Having gone through it, I may be missing something, It would be useful to have the ability to set multiple rules for products themselves. At the moment you can set a rule for individual customers that they purchase specific Products with a rule against them and upload the specific price to Supplier Price Lists.

However I have 40,000 products on my system of which 10% of those are from 1 supplier, where we get a set cost price every year and we have to manually adjust the prices on those 4,000 products to the new Sell price. It would help to put a blanket rule to multiple products at once for a sell price against the new buy price whenever that is adjusted and equally if there is only a sell price provided from a supplier, the ability to put that price in with a rule against the supplier to automatically get the set discount. 

Without multiple spreadsheets and having to reupload every year and remember to Excel coding to adjust, I think this would be benefitial

  • I think you can do this. Use a spreadsheet to update the standard selling price on the product. Set up your price lists to calculate from the selling price using the rules provided and turn automatic recalculation on.

    The problem is that you have to enter the price lists manually which is a massive pain. Sage only allows the import of fixed prices.

    However, those nice people at adept have written an import add-on that allows you to import rules based prices into price lists.

  • would also like to see if there is a way of linking delivery dates from suppliers POP's to SOP' s 

  • Can we have price lists which are date precise ie offer special prices to customers with an end date which reverts to standard pricing at the end of a promotion?
