Seeing Attachments in the "Transaction" Segment

Hi,

Can you please add feature for seeing attachments in the "transactions" section? 

Now we can see attachments only when we search under the supplier or customer section. But we need to see also under "transactions" section. Because we are always doing our search from the transaction number not supplier name and customer name. So now It cost me a double time to find attachment in the sage. First I am searching transaction after that I can see supplier name and after that I need to go to supplier side to see the attachments. This is a little bit time consuming for us.

Please add feature to seeing attachments under the "transactions" section

  • Using a file explorer pointing to "Sagedata\COMPANY.xxx\Transaction Attachments" it is fairly easy to find attachments without going through the memorandum ledgers.  We only need to attached to suppliers and they're appearing in a directory with name "Purchase Transaction <transaction number[ - trans number]>";  I guess customer transaction attachments are in "Sales Transaction <transaction number[s]>".

    Not perfect, but it may be a bit quicker.

    Do the directories really need the type prefix?  After all a single numbered transaction cannot be both a Sales (SC, SI, etc) and Purchase (PC, PI, etc) transaction (or more than any single type of transaction).

    Without the prefix and the directory was named just the number of the transaction it would be very quick to locate the transaction directory and the attachments contained therein.

    (Why are we always having to implement work-arounds for features that ought to be in Sage?)
