Instead of having to create a new customer for each of a customer's subsidiaries, I think it should be possible to store all of a customer's subsidiaries under one parent company customer information and subsequently be able to allocate transactions to the subsidiary making the purchase. This will save you from having to enter the same customer details for each subsidiary owned by a customer.
