A brand-new way to get in touch!

You ask, we’ll answer…

From 4 February and throughout payroll year end we’re offering a new way for you to get quick answers to your questions from our Sage experts without having to call us.

We’re holding live drop-in Q&A sessions, Monday to Friday, between 9am to 5pm, where you can put your questions to us online. We’ll demo some of the most common questions you ask us, but the focus of the sessions will be driven by you and your questions on processing payroll and year end.

For example:

  • Processing payroll tasks
  • Installing your year end update
  • Preparing for payroll year end
  • Running your year end
  • Starting the new tax year

All you need is a computer with internet access and speakers or headphones so you can listen in. You can then simply submit your question through the chat option in our online meeting room and our experts will answer the questions live as they come in, so you can hear what others are asking too.

We’ll be taking your questions about the latest supported versions of Sage 50cloud Payroll. As this is an open forum for asking questions, we can’t answer questions about your account information, personal employee information, or a way your organisation specifically does business during this time.

To ask your question, simply join us during a live session.

I have recently had an issue with an update and have been speaking to your tech team. I run my software on a mac through parallels and windows 7. Your team sorted the problem out yesterday but I have come to open today and the path is to the dummy company we had to set up yesterday

how do i change the pathway

    Hi John,

Just to clarify, a colleague set up a dummy company to allow you to begin processing as a new company or was it to restore in data you already have?

I’m assuming you aren’t referring to the Demonstration Data, but to a blank company.

If you have a Sage 50 Payroll backup file, you can restore your information directly into that company, via File > Restore > Selecting the information you wish to restore and then browsing for your backup file.

If this has answered your question, please click More > Verify Answer.

    Regards,

    Harrison.
