October is the fourth and final month in Phase 2 of the Job Retention Scheme.
The key changes are:
- Employee still paid 80%.
- Reclaim cap changes to 60% of employee wages, up to the cap of £1,875.
- The employer must now cover 20% of employee wages, up to £625.
- Employers continue to cover the cost of employer NI and pension contributions.
- Flexible furloughing continues, so employees can return to work on a part-time basis.
- 31 October is the deadline for all September CJRS claims.
