Retrieving data from sage pensions data exchange

Having problems since this weekend, unable to upload pensions data to nest, using version 24.01.103 the module hangs on 'Retrieving data from sage pensions data exchange' , left it for over ½ hour and no change, any ideas?

    Hi Neal,

    Thanks for using our Product Support Community.

    There’s an issue we’re aware of where, when you attempt to send pension data, the ‘Retrieving data from Pensions Data Exchange...’ window shows for longer than expected and your pension data doesn't submit.

    If this occurs, we recommend you try the following:

    Restore Pension Data files:

    1. Click File, click Restore.
    2. Select the date that you last successfully sent pension data.
    3. Click Next, select Pension Data Files.
    4. Clear the Data Files check box.
    5. Click Next, click Next.
    6. Click Finish.
    7. Attempt to send pension data again.

    If the issue continues, refresh the pension provider accounts: 

    1. Click Company, click Pensions Module Settings.
    2. Click Management Centre.
    3. Click Manage Pension Accounts.
    4. Click the refresh button.
    5. If any errors appear, resolve them.
    6. Attempt to send pension data again.

    I have tried the steps outlined above and still have a problem. When I restored a previous pension data set, it indicated there was no tracking object for the given request ID. When I refreshed the pension links within the management centre, it has simply reverted to the original fault.

    Unfortunately this has not helped, currently having to enter details manually which defeats the object of using the program to an extent, talking more time up obviously! Any other ideas, to add also that if left for say 8 hours it eventually comes up with a blank submission form to send to nest!

    Hi Neal, Give Sage a call on the 0845 111 5555 no as it turned out they had to clear something from their system to allow further submissions to be compiled. Once I spoke to an operative, the process took just about 5 mins start to finish. Hope this helps.
