When you print a P45 from Sage 50 Payroll, you should use the P45 (Plain Paper For Use With E-Submissions) layout. This will print the P45 layout onto plain paper, including figures, surround text and the boxes themselves.

To print a P45: 

1. Select the required employee.
2. Click Reports then click Employee.
3. Select the P45 (Plain Paper For Use With E-Submissions) layout.
4. Click Preview then click Print.
5. Check the printer details then click OK.

You can make an employee a leaver using the Leaver button in the Employment tab of the employee’s record. However, before you make the employee a leaver, there are a few things that you may need to check and process.
