To ensure that your using the correct legislation settings for the new 2018/2019 tax year, you need to check that you've installed Sage 50 Payroll v24.01. To check this: 

1. On the menu bar, click Help then click About.
2. In the Program Details section, check your version number starts with 24.01.

If your version number doesn't start with 24.01, you need to download and install Sage 50 Payroll v24.01.

Once you’re using v24.01 you can process payroll in the new 2018/2019 tax year, even before you’ve ran your payroll year end for the 2017/2018 tax year.

The EPS is a cumulative submission, therefore you can include the CIS figures in your EPS for May 2018 if you don’t have them in time for April 2018’s EPS.
