What do you have your Process Date set to when you run the P32?

What is the full version number showing in both:

• Help > About > Program Details

• Help > About > Licence Information

I ran a payroll dated 23rd January 2018 so that was obviously the process date.

Version number is: 23.02.160

I presume that I am using the old version and need to update but I'm not sure how to do it. I've tried going into 'check for updates' and running any but that isn't resolving my issue.

23.02 is the latest version and 23rd January 2018 is in the current 2017/2018 tax year.

Where are you running the P32 from in Sage 50 Payroll?

Could you clarify exactly what you mean by ‘the report is still showing 2016’?

I have tried going into the 'Reports' tab across the top, also going into 'Tasks' then 'reports' and also 'P32 Report' under links on the left side of screen.

All options come up with the print the report which is titled 'Form P32 (2016) - Employer Payment Record.

The P32 (2017) has 18 lines and includes the Apprenticeship Levy but P32 (2016) does not have this additional line thus the 'Total amount due' is out of sync and showing the incorrect figure.

Can you offer any further help on this please?

As you are using the most up to date version number of Payroll, it would indicate some of the reports haven't updated if the P32 still has (2016) in the title. You will need to create a new reports folder. If you have any customised reports, then contact support on 0845 111 5555 for help copying those. Otherwise follow the steps below:

1. Browse to C:\PROGRAMDATA\Sage\Payroll
2. Go to Tools > Folder Options > View > clear the Hide extensions for known file types check box > OK.
Tip: If the Tools menu does not appear, to view this press Alt.
3. right-click Reports > Rename > enter OldReports > press Enter.
4. File > New > Text Document > type newinst.txt > Enter.
When you next open the software, the message: 'Copying reports, please wait' appears and a new Reports folder appears.
