Sage 50 Payroll output compatible eft file for Barclays.NET?

Question

I see a similar question in this link here but i'm not sure if it relates to Barclays.NET business online banking.

 My question is can I export payroll data in EFT to a file format that can then be imported into Barclays.NET so we don't have to type all the 95 employee pay values in each month. 
 Ive tried the Barclays Business Master plug in as a test and Barclays.NET rejects the file. 
 The answer to the similar post on here recently suggests asking Barclays to change their system to accommodate the Sage output file but unless i've misunderstood the query, that can't be correct can it? Surely the banks have a set criteria for the file type, field lengths etc they can accept and it should be relatively simple for Sage development team to map there data fields in an output file.

Hi, 
 We have a lot of customers using ebanking who bank with Barclays and it will export using the Barclays Business Master plugin. If that isn't working, then you could try using the Barclays Business Master Master Lite plugin. Alternatively, you can speak to Barclays and see if they can assist you with why the file won;t upload. 
 Another option would be to use Sage Payments which negates the necessity to have to produce files to export and import into your banking software. It sends it straight to the bank, more information can be found here .

Hi. I use e-banking every month to create the banking file for Barclays.NET. I have e-banking enabled and use Component Barclays Business Master II. The config section only shows the common directory as the area I wish to store the file. No other entries on this config page. When you run your e-banking it will create a notebook type file with no file extension. This is then imported in Barclays.NET as a Sage type file and then submitted. Are you choosing the correct file type when attempting the import?
