Government apprenticeship levy on Employers

From April Employers with an annual Pay bill of £3,000,000 will be required to pay an apprenticeship levy of 0.5% on the pay bill. Could you advise what reporting are Sage doing to assist in the monthly calculation and payment of the levy?
  • From 6 April 2017, HMRC are changing the way they fund apprenticeships. If your annual pay bill exceeds £3 million, you're required to pay into the apprenticeship levy. The amount that you need to pay is 0.5% of your annual pay bill. You also have an allowance of up to £15,000 that you can offset against this.

Your payroll year end update for 2017/2018 includes the apprenticeship levy. It automatically takes it into account when calculating how much you need to pay HMRC.
