Month 12 EPS not submitted before final FPS for 2015/16

I have just realised that I have submitted the final FPS for a client but forgot to submit an EPS for Month 12 to notify HMRC of SMP to be offset against the Month 12 PAYE payment. Do I need to wait until after 19th April 2016 and submit an EYU?

Hi Jan,

There's no need to wait until 19th April to submit an EYU.

Instead, you can set your Process Date to 05/04/2016 and then submit the EPS. The EPS must be submitted before 19th April.

If you have already ran the year end, you should run the year end submission again after submitting Month 12's EPS.

I have done as you suggested and have submitted the EPS for Month 12 (figures all correct) and then sent the year end submission again. All gone through okay but I notice that when you print the details of the year end submission from the e-submissions log page, it prints the old style details with the year end declarations. This was not printed on the original submission details. Will this be okay?
