Year end submission to HMRC

We have processed March's pay and made our online submission to HMRC. When I look at the submission log it shows a Full Payment Submission (FPS) for each month up to February but a Year End submission for March - should there be a FPS for March as well?

Hi Kate,

Each monthly Full payment submission (FPS) is separate to your Internet Submission at Payroll year end. Therefore, you should have a regular month end submission for month 12, the same as every other month.

You should also have an additional year end submission dated 05/04/2016, the last day of the 2015/2016 tax year.

If you havenâ€t yet submitted the regular FPS for month 12, you can submit this to HMRC now. Once done, you can resubmit your Payroll year end submission.

If youâ€ve already submitted both the regular FPS for month 12 and the Payroll year end submission, there is no further action to take.
