To correct this you can remove the Leave Date from the employee’s record, then rollback the employee for the relevant pay run/s. Once done, correct the date of birth in their record and reprocess the payroll for the period/s you ran the rollback for.

You can then make the employee a leaver again and print a new P45. If you made any adjustments to the employee’s pay for any of periods you ran the rollback for, you’ll need to submit an FPS adjustment to inform HMRC.
