Thanks for using Sage City.

It sounds like you may have ticked the Select this check box if your employee is leaving and this is their final payment box in Enter Payments. This will automatically calculate the whole remaining amount of SMP due to the employee.

To correct this you can just untick this box.

If the employee’s SMP amount is still incorrect, to identify and correct it you can use this troubleshooting guide.
