Hi there

I run a monthly and fortnightly payroll, do I have to do the year end at the same time, or can I do the monthly one first ?

Also can I do April payroll before I have closed the year end.

Hi Susan,

Thank you for using Community Hub.

We would recommend completing the Payroll Year End process once you have completed all payrolls that land in the 2023 / 2024 tax year but you can continue to process into the new tax year first as long as the Year End submission is complete by 19th April.

You will need to ensure you have installed v30 of Sage 50 Payroll and applied the Spring Budget legislation update prior to processing in the new tax year.
