I have just spoken to Sage Support on putting my Sage Payroll data possibly in the cloud using Azure File Share. To be honest I am gob smacked by the response I received. Basically it was a NO but with the Payroll DB being a ACCESS DB and the stableness of connections in todays world surely this shouldn't be a problem.
When I asked if this was going to be looked into further that advised they don't know and there is no roadmap.
Please can this be tackled as priority as now most company's are looking at moving from a on-premise server and looking a either a hybrid solution or a full cloud system and with more users working remotely and with again with Covid. I would have thought SAGE would have prioritised and invested into the development on this.
