Issues in Invoicing

SUGGESTED

Hi guys,

I am currently facing two issues on Sage Accounting if anyone can help me out please.

1) While raising a new invoice, I can only enter upto only two decimal places on the Price (per unit) category. Since a few of my products cost in cents (lets say, 30.75 cents per piece), if I enter USD 0.3075, it automatically readjusts to 0.31. This is a major issue as it changes the final amount for which the invoice is raised for. Is there a way out for this?

2) As we sell multiple products, which do not always have the same base units, how do we make sure the base units remain unique for every invoice raised? For example, if bananas sell in USD/dozen, apples are USD/kg and Oranges are cents/piece. I wish to know how do we accommodate different base units for different products?

PS: I know we can change the base units under Invoice Form Setting in Settings tab. However, that doesnt help as it changes the settings on all past and future invoices across the board. I wish to have different base units for different invoices. Hope that makes sense, cheers!

Thank you all in Advance!

    Hi ,

    Thanks for using Sage City.

Apologies for any delay in responding to your query.

Currently the system can only go up to two decimal places, this has been fed back to our developers, however this is the limit at this time.

In regard to your second question, individual settings for this is not currently available, however we can look further into this if still required, please contact Sage Technical Support.
