After years with Sage 50, we've switched, and I'm struggling to get useful reports - budgets, projects and the like. So I'm exploring Custom Reports in Sage Intelligence, feeding data to Excel 2019/64bit.
I've followed the tutorials, but every time I try to interact with the spreadsheet I get "Oops Formula Problem, insert your formula in a reporting area". It is in a reporting area... Is there a magic incantation to make this work, or is it only compatible with older Excel releases?
I can get it to insert lists, so I can't be too far off - but even copying exactly the steps in the video on Custom Reports, my Excel says "oops", and the video's Excel pops up a dialog box. It also often complains I have multiple copies open, requiring me to shut Excel - it's not going too well at the moment!
