Hi Peter,

With Sage Business Cloud Accounting you'd be able to import sales/purchase & bank transactions from CSV's, run VAT Returns and your End of Year reports too. You can make manual adjustments via journal entries (nominal CSV's - which can also be imported). 

The reason for my recommendation of getting in touch is so we can discuss your requirements in detail and ensure that the solution offered is truly right for you - It's difficult to fully advise on a forum so I must state that at this point I haven't made a recommendation on which software you'd need, but you can find out more about Sage Business Cloud Accounting here: https://www.sage.com/en-gb/sage-business-cloud/accounting/

Will this software allow me to create and submit company tax returns (CT600)?

Hi Peter,

Sage Business Cloud Accounting doesn't work with Corporation Tax directly. You'd need to be using our Practice software Sage for Accountants instead which would give access to Sage Business Cloud Accounting data in an Accountants environment where you can prepare final accounts and submit corporation tax (CT600) returns too.

Thanks very much Anth. Let me summarise my understanding so far:

Question: What Sage software would be required to do bookkeeping with data loaded from csv files + final accounts + CT600?

Answer: Sage for Accountants + Sage Business Cloud Accounting + Final Accounts + Corporation Tax

So it looks like the migration I am considering would be feasible with Sage software. I do have some more detailed questions about which I shall contact you off-line.
