To transfer money out of a cash account and into a bank account, select the cash account, go to New, then select Bank Deposit. Complete the information and select Save. 

This is because a cash account expects you to have physical cash so the option of bank deposit would show you putting cash into your bank account, therefore moving it from cash to the bank account.

Hi Elizabeth,

You can't do this from the bank feed I'm afraid. You would need to record it manually as above, and then delete the transaction from the bank feed by select the check box and selecting the delete dust bin at the top of the list. 

I know. Someone can now improve the software.

It seems that I can create a rule now. 

as long as from the bank feed Transfer from, I select Cash, then I can create a rule.
