SAGE code 2301 Director's Loan

Question

I have to create a 'Purchase Invoice for the monthly credit card statement. The Director spends both Company and Personal transactions. I need to be able to use SAGE code 2301 on this but it is not there. The system says I should create a ledger account (code). I don't want to create a code that already exists. HELP!!

Hi Annette,

Thanks for using Community Hub.

Open Settings and Business Settings, then Chart of Accounts. Find the nominal code and select it. Scroll down to the Visibility section, select Purchases and then click Save. The code will now show when creating a purchase invoice.
