Invalid PPS number for new employee

Hi folks, I am trying to add a new employee who has recently moved to Ireland and just obtained her PPS number. I am getting an 'invalid PPS' error and when checking directly on I get a similar message. Assuming I have the right PPS number, do I or the employee need to do something with Revenue before I can set her up?

    I had a similar problem with an employee who has his surname spelt a different way with Revenue than he does on other documentation. This meant that the PPS number did not match the name attached to it and came back invalid. The employee would be better off ringing Revenue on the employee helpline (01 738 3636) or through MyAccount and get them to check that all the details are the same
