The Government announced the new Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme (EWSS) on 23 July 2020.
The scheme provides a flat-rate subsidy to qualifying employers based on the numbers of paid and eligible employees on their payroll.
Revenue are currently finalising the details of the scheme and were working on a release of a software update for Sage Payroll in order to remain compliant with the rules of the scheme. We'll let you know as soon as it's released.
