Unable to get complete RPN data from ROS

SUGGESTED

I have just signed up with Sage payroll and trying to download RPN data from ROS. However I realise, I only can see partial data retrieved from ROS.

Expected:

1. I have two employment for current year, one is ceased and other one is active.
2. When I retrieve RPN from ROS I should be able to see all the details from both the employment of previous payrolls.

Received:

1. Only received payroll data related to first employment, it appears that I didn’t pick up May payroll data for active employment(current employment).

I can see the information is available on ROS but for some strange reason it isn’t being retrieved in Sage.

I would really appreciate  if someone can lead me in the right direction.

    Hi Yash,

    Thanks for using Sage City.

Revenue only issue an RPN for an employee, if they’re a new starter, or if they’ve had changes to the tax details issued by Revenue. If changes have been made and there’s a new RPN for them on Revenue, Sage Payroll should pull down.

If you still expect an RPN to be issued, you can check the employee’s details in Sage Payroll to make sure the information you have for them is correct. To do this:

    1. Click Edit Employees.
    2. Click the Tax / PRSI / USC tab.
    3. Review your employees' PPS Number, Employment ID, RPN No., and exceptions & exclusions, and amend them if required.

You can find more information on why RPNs aren't available by contacting Revenue, or from Revenue's hot topics.
