A new release of Web Scheduling which includes GraphQL Integration is now available and is supported with Sage X3 2023R1.

We recommend this release for new installations.

It is the same as the recently released UP1.5, but includes the facility to use GraphQL to communicate with Sage X3 via the new Windows Service "Sage X3 Interface GraphQL", instead of the existing JSON "Sage_X3_Interface" Windows Service.

Preinstallation recommendations:

• Complete the dedicated training.
• Installations without customization:
  • Uninstall your current Sedapta version (Web scheduling 2022 UP1.4 or other previous version)
  • Install sedApta version 2022 UP1.5 

• Installations with customization or with an advanced setup:
  • Read the documentation before installation.

Download the Sage_Installer_2023_GraphQL_Packages.zip and Sage_Installer_2023_GraphQL__Prerequisites.zip packages from the SageX3\X3V12\WebScheduling folder on the Sage X3 UK FTP Site.

In order to use the GraphQL Integration, the X3 Services component must be installed and configured.

During the "X3 Interface" stage of the installation process, be sure to correctly fill in the values for these fields: GraphQL API URL, Client, and Secret ID.

For example:

This release creates two Windows Services, "Sage X3 Interface GraphQL" and "Sage_X3_Interface".

By default, the GraphQL Interface is not activated. Switching from the JSON integration to GraphQL APIs is possible by running the dedicated Windows Services (Sage X3 interface GraphQL) and disabling the Sage_X3_interface.

Known limitations:  

• In case of the mutations (WO update with the GraphQL APIs) failed, the user is not informed (wrong successful message). Check the logs.
• Custom values at the WO header level are NOT correctly retrieved with the GraphQL API integration.
