We recently had a case where the BP was wanting to integrate Sage CRM 2022 R2 with Sage 300 2021. They had various issues before contacting us. At first they believed the integration component was not the correct one. So they requested where to download it from.

Back to the original issue. We recommend always having the latest version of both Sage products so you can have a seemless integration. However sometimes this is not possible. Before upgrading or integrating these products for the first time you must check the compatibility guide for both products.

The Main issue with the problem the BP was facing was that the products and their versions were compatible but they were missing one small detail. Sage CRM 2022 R2 was rolled out post Sage 300 2021. Therefore starting from the PU of Sage 300 2021 that is compatible with Sage CRM 2022 R2 is Sage 300 2021 PU5

It is important to check these documents to know what PU is compatible with each Sage Product if you are looking to make Sage CRM backwards compatibile.
