Sage CRM 2024 R1: Changes to Help and Available Resources

Sage CRM 2024 R1 will be released to the Sage operating companies on Thursday 11th April 2024. As part of the release, the Help Center has been updated with all of the release notes, guides and online help.

Note: Early in the development cycle for Sage CRM 2024 R1 Sage launched a new chatbot called Sage CRM Ally on the Sage CRM Help Center. Sage CRM Ally is powered by generative AI and has access to all documentation of currently supported versions of the software. To access the chatbot, simply click on the “Chat” link in the bottom right corner of the page.

Sage CRM Ally will be included in Sage CRM 2024 R1 to improve the in-product experience for users to be able to get help directly within the interface.

The documentation for Sage CRM 2024 R1 has changed to support the new features that have been added to enhance the user experience.

The User Guide and online help have been updated to include

  • How to use the new tagging system for easier record organization and retrieval.
  • How to highlight text in multiline text fields for improved readability and faster insights on key information.
  • How to use the improved favourites management with ordering options.
  • How to access and use of Sage CRM Ally

The System Administration Guide has also been updated to include

  • Information about the change to the 64-bit Java Runtime Environment

The Developer Guide and Help has also been updated to include

  • A description of the updates to the REST API

NOTE: The Release Notes will be provided in English, German, French, and Spanish but translated help and guides have been discontinued. This means that only English documentation is now supplied with Sage CRM 2024 R1.

The Release Notes document over 40 issues and enhancements addressed in Sage CRM 2024 R1. New training material will added to the community and YouTube channel after the release of the product.
