Help! Deleted Quote Summary Screen - Need to restore

I was wondering if there is any way to restore a deleted screen. I was changing some of the custom items in the Quote Summary Screen and went to delete one of the items and deleted the screen by mistake. (Administration -> Customisation -> Quotes -> Screens). I don't belive that my company has a Sage backup right now, and we have a definite need to be able to input and review quotes. Is there any way to restore the deleted screen, or to import a basic quote summary screen so I don't have to start over from scratch? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

When fields or records are deleted from Sage CRM, it sets the xxxx_deleted field (Here xxxx_ is the prefix of table) as 1. However when screen objects are deleted from Sage CRM, it permanently deletes the same from SQL database.

It can be restored back again by any of the below ways.

    1. From old database backup

    2. Creating a component file from test machine (if exists).

    3. Manually create screen in Sage CRM by comparing the same screen from another CRM.

If you have old Sage CRM database backup (It would be fine if it is not a latest one and Quote Summary screen is not customized), then you can either create a new entry though SQL (Point 1).

    Hope this will helps!

    Sincerely,

    Dinesh
