Close By field value is not populated to Opportunity Progress page

Hi,

I set up a workflow global rule with "Display Field for Amendment" type for opportunity "Close By" field. When I tested it, the "Close By" filed is added to the Opportunity Progress page, but the existing date value is not populated. Please advise how to make "Close By" field populated with existing value. Thanks.

The field you are displaying for amendment there, I think, is oppo_closed (Closed) & not oppo_targetclose (Close By). Is the issue you have, that when data is entered into this field, 'Close By' is not changing? If so, I think that is your issue.
