Custom dotNet dll dependancies

Where do you put them in the CRM folder structure?

I have a reference to Newton.Soft but when the dll runs an exception is handled saying the newtonsoft dll can not be found.

Hi,

I'd reckon that the reference should have a path set in the reference properties in Visual Studio. You might want to add your DLL in another location (like the CustomDotNet directory), then remove and re-add it.

Hi Rob,

Thanks for the reply. What worked was adding the referenced dll into the windows\assembly folder.
