We have the exact same problem here. I've talked with CRM support previously about the Yammer component, and at that time they said it can't be uninstalled. I'll be calling again shortly. This is unacceptable.

Yesterday, Yammer deprecated the version of the API that Sage CRM uses. The version of the component that was uploaded recently was to address changes in CRM, not with Yammer.

Our R&D team are working on moving to the new Yammer API right now, and will hopefully have an ETA on an updated component shortly.

In the meantime, you can stop the pop-up message appearing by running the following command against the database:

update users set user_yammerpermit = 'N'

If you don't have direct access to the database, then untick the "Can use Yammer component" checkbox for each user in the administration area of Sage CRM.

OMG its back. The friggin popup is back....even with all users set to 'N'

You can remove the popup by changing the extension on the yammer javascript files in the wwwroot/js/custom folder. In order for the change to take place (at least in 7.2c and above) you will have to restart IIS due to Sage's absolutely idiotic caching of javascript files. Way to take a huge benefit of drop in deployment and screw it up by caching the files. Now I have to kick all users off in order to deploy a javascript file and have the change actually take place.
