hello,

New to Sage CRM, so please bare with me.

I have Sage CRM 200, which includes the CTI add on.

We are looking at using this feature to allow for screen pops when a call comes in.

I understand the basics from reading a couple of documnets, including the "Sage CRM 7.2 CTI Guide"

From that guide (Page 2-1), it indicates you need;

A PABX, Telephoney Server, Telephony Network, LAN Server and a LAN .

What i am having a hard time understanding is what are the components included with the Sage CTI.

I understand you need a telephone system, that ideally supports TAPI.

The phone system talks with the Telephoney Server (via the LAN).

The Telehponey server takes the call messages from the phone system and passes them to the CRM system to allow for the screen pop.

From the Guide, I beleive I install the CRM CTI components onto the CRM server.

What I don't understand from the documentation is what is installed on the Telephoney server. I have found products like QGATE, which I assume full this role.

But does the Sage CTI software provide this "middle ware" functionality?

Beacuse what I am not finding in any of this document is where you would configure the interface with the phone system, i.e. what is the IP address of the phone system, or the actual application that takes the information from the phone system.

What am I missing.

Thanks
