What version of SageCRM are you on? I have a very large database, and I was able to complete indexes in under 2 hours on version 6.2 Since upgrading to v7.2, it takes between 6-8 hours.

Also, you may need to restart the indexer service on your web server.

You can take a look at the Keyword Search area in the administration side of CRM, this will tell you how long the last full, and last incremental indexes took to run, and also the date when they were done.

As Matt has said, if your database is large it will take some time, it will also take some time if your keyword search views are large also. It really is dependent on your data and hardware though, as to how long it takes.

How long did the last incremental take?

You do not say exactly what your issue is, are you missing records you would expect to see when searching with Keyword search?

So is the incremental index time in line with the interval set? If not, I would first try restarting the index service. If that does not help, delete fulltext.ix and then restart the index service to force a full index.

We are on 7.1 and the last full keyword search took 11 minutes.

The last incremental was last night and took 1 minute. We have had incomplete records being returned. Example: keyword search Green, should return about 400 records ... it was returning 3.
